Ugly was a band from 1989 until 1997. We played a lot of shows, put out a few records, and did all the stuff you're supposed to do when you're in a band. This area of the site is being built at the request of and for a great many people who came out to our shows, bought our records, and generally helped us out and enjoyed this band.

The band never officially broke up, it just kind of went away. Really far away. There are still shows, though not very often. The last was at Iota in in Arlington, Virginia in December 2000.
